How do you right the wrongs once they’re gone?

If I only had more time…

Have you ever said that? Have you ever felt that time was too short with your loved one?

When one dies we are left with the thoughts of what we could have and should have done.  We are left with the thoughts of what we feel that we did wrong. We are left with the thoughts of what we could have done better. We are left with the thoughts of if I would have done this-then they would still be alive. How do you right these things that you feel are wrong? For me, honoring my son’s legacy has been a huge part of my grief healing journey. It’s allowed me to right those wrongs by pouring into the people that Samaad touched in his life. It’s allowed me to support another child in honor of my son. It’s allowed me to keep my son’s name alive and continue the good things he was doing when he was alive…

Don’t die when your loved one passes on! God left you here for a reason, use that time to honor your loved one and their legacy!
